Less is More week 5 pastel Colours

Stamp; Penny Black Mixed Media with the list element cut off.  The scroll was in a freebie pack with an order from Crafty Individuals... thank you Malcolm. Image coloured with Whispers Strokes

This idea came to me this afternoon when I was struggling with the challenge concept. I love pastels so no idea why I found it so difficult. But as a friend from the CH would say "just go for it" so I did.

I intended that the scrolls should face in opposite directions... but may be they  should both be facing away from the image?

This is a really charming card... personally I would go with both scrolls facing away from the image... but that purely my view!
Great to see you again and see you next time!

I love it and don't think it matters which way the scrolls face. You are the designer...your decision is the right one. Trust me ' you're a designer'. I love CI too!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful card Suzi, I really love that image. Looks really pretty and I like the scrolls. I don't think it really matters which way you put them. Hugs x ChrisB

I agree that the flat side of the scrolls should be next to the square...awesome stamp...and the swirls really add a lot!

I love the dimension in your card, there is a lot going on here but it works so very well. Stunning card and i would have stamped them both away from the square:-)

Well done for just 'going for it' and you've produced a lovely card. I'd not noticed the bit about the scrolls but I'm sure either option would work. This minimal look is certainly making us think!!

I would face both scrolls away from the image but that's just me! Love crafty Individuals too and I love your cards

Stunning card and beautifully coloured.

I reckon it should be flat sides next to the image, and on opposite sides or top & bottom (or am I just being fussy?)

Beautiful flowers and lovely layout . I would have had swirls facing away from flowers but only my opinion .

I adore the way you have colored this, and the flower dimension really takes it to a different level of beautiful. I think I agree with those who say flat side of scroll next to the image. But either way, they really anchor it all to the white.

LOVE this card. Just because I'm very methodical, I'd have added the scrolls both the same way round . . . and probably with the flat edge nearest your main image so the scroll faces outwards. But that's just me . . . personally I think you've still made a terrific card!

Love what you've done with this stamp. It's such a beautiful image, isn't it? I have it too, but I can't help wondering why they put the music upside down! Not that it matters, it's still lovely!
