LIM Week 11 Acetate

This was hard!.... it bugged me... why oh why did I come up with this idea?..... after several attempts here it is....  Silver fairy dancing in the flowers.
I wont go into why it became difficult,  suffice it to say keeping it LIM ... unable to hide things, glue! having to use ribbon in the end... :o)
This was supposed to be a quick card!
The card is embossed with a Cuttlebug the acetate is heat embossed and made into a wrap around the card. i.e. two layers
THEN... photography!!!!... what a  ******  *****!!  fill with which ever expletive you like LOL
eventually took photos outside after failing.... several times indoors.

Added 20th April

thank you Monica xx

This is super Suzi!
I agree that photographing acetate is difficult, but it looks really good.
Is the dry embossing heat embossed? or is it 2 layers?
Great job!

I love the depth you got from the embossing! I think we all had difficulty photographing our creations!

"... photographing acetate is difficult"

I don't know which camera you have. I have a pentax.

"ISO 3200", no flash, a strong lamp on the left or right side of the card - and you got it ;)

Agree photographing this stuff is difficult and attaching it without that showing but you have done both brilliantly and made a fantastic card, love your embossing with both the folder and the fairy. XOXO Zoe

Suzi, thank you for your lovely camping story. Sounds as if you found a magical location.
Red wine and shooting stars...how memorable.

I am not sure where I am going yet; the magical places are usually a long way from home.
Rain on the roof....lovely!!!!!!!!!

Love your fairy and the embossing behind. It's difficult when you get an idea in your head and can't let it go but this has worked out perfectly. x

This is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of an art nouveau pewter vase that we used to have when I was a child. I'm so pleased you overcame your photographic challenges to share this!

This really made me smile! I think photographing the acetate is almost as tough as the challenge itself. However, I think you've made a lovely card - the fairy looks fabulous!

Beautiful card! Love that fairy...it can be so difficult to stamp on that slick surface, but your image looks perfect! So crisp and clean!
