Week 45 at Make My Monday and LIM week 63

Good morning to you all, it's a bright morning ..so far :) here in Crewe, hope the weathers good where you are.

This week at Make My Monday
Caz would like you to use a Sports / Hobbies theme for Men / Boys on your project.
Producing masculine cards is not my favourite thing so this has been a bit of a challenge for me:) but contrary to expectations I've enjoyed the theme ..
here's my cards
I bought this stamp when I first became interested in rubber stamps... it was used to make a card for my son :)
after that it hasn't been used much but it was just right for the MMM challenge plus it's one of the few humerous stamps I have. I find it difficult to come up with humerous cards, do you ?

POP along to the MMM  challenge site and check out my teamies wonderful inspiration pieces... and have a go, we'd love to see you.

 Products used
Main Image: Stamps Happen It's Only a game.
Pro markers, Whispers Strokes, water colours
Stamp Bord
Provo Craft Embossing Plate
 Tim Holtz Distress inks

GRRRR I can't get rid of this big gap!

This next card is also an attempt at "Humerous" it also fits the bill for the challenge at LIM which is to make a One Layer Card and to my horror with doodles!... I can't draw for toffee! so I thought I would have to give LIM a miss this week but with tongue in cheek this is what I came up with using the MMM theme of men/boys, sports/hobbies

This is my doodling!!
I "painted" the grass with water colour paint then "doodled" with a black marker pen ....lol

As usual I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to admire your work
take care  see you at your place :)

Love your humerous card Sue. The image and sentiment made me chuckle as did your little tale of the doodling on your less is more card. May not be much but hey - still doodling!
Have a great week.

Both these cards made me smile particularly the top one - that's a brilliant stamp and the quotes on both are so good too. Have to trawl through my stamps to see what I can find.

Hi, Suzi! Fabulous cards!!! I think both are fabulous--and I, too, HATE when blogger does things like not letting me get rid of a big break! WHY?! But, your cards are amazing, so that's what counts!!! :)

Love your first card Suzi, being married to a golfer it really tickled me and I imagine most golfers will relate to the 2nd one:) Love your doodles I think I definitely over complicated the challenge!

By the way where do those large gaps come from?!!

Hi Suzi, Two wonderful men's cards, made me smile and the doodling works great!! Love your card below too, smashing!

Your gaps come from inserting a picture and not bringing the text up. It's difficult to explain but when you add a picture the curser moves below or sometimes beside it. You can manipulate the curser when you are creating your post, by using the enter/ back button but be careful, you can delete stuff. Not a problem though because there is always the redo button at the top. I think they have tried to help with our posting and the curser seems to have a mind of it's own, it's almost as if it's trying to design for you LOL I hope that helps a little , sorry if I've confused you more, Gay xx

I think you've done brilliantly with your cards Sue. I don't do humerous either and often wish I could. The first one would have been very apt for my OH last weekend (he shares the Queen's birthday). As one of his pressies we're sending him, son and SIL for a bit of a golf knockabout (none of them have ever played) in an attempt to get him interested in something ............ anything, before he retires next year. I can well imagine this is what will happen, lol!
