MMM week 36.Romance of course

and Suzanne would like you to use die cuts of
Hearts and Flowers...  both please
don't worry if you don't have any dies or punches we would still love to see your hearts and flowers creations.
We are being sponsored by Marianne designs this month and you could win this fabulous prise.

Pop along to Make My Monday to see some of the DT's great inspiration pieces.

We look forward to visiting your blogs to leave comments  and we love it when you give us feed back... thank you.

here's mine ... which is quick and simple.

I used a Marianne Creatable Die LR0192 for the flowers aka Dandelion seed heads and punched hearts to interpret the blown seeds... instead of 1 a clock 2 o clock its.. he loves me he loves me not
(poetic licence... grinning face).
I adhered DP from an Amy Butler  K&Co paper pad (626546 I think that's the right code it is very small print) to thin card so that the die cuts  were a bit more solid and adhered to the card with sticky fixes to rais them up from the card base.
The background is from the I Brake for Stamps Plate 1003 I deliberately didn't stamp too hard in the middle of the design so that the flower heads showed up more.... oh yeah! insert wry grin...

Enjoy your day  and take care

This is an unusual and interesting take on the hearts and flowers - love it. Had to smile at your comment about leaving the centre of the stamping lighter to show up the flowers - been there done that!!

Ha! Ha! You're too honest Sue. Your explanation for the lighter patch was very feasable and although I do it unintentionally too, I often do patchy stamping on purpose.

I do love your card though and it has a very modern look to it. I haven't seen that dandelion die before (been trying not to look) but I think it might creep onto my wish list. It's lovely!

Very striking and really admire the "deliberate" missed stamping - adds interest! Super!

Fabulous Suzi, love the idea of the hearts blowing away! That's a lovely die and really pops against that impressive background stamping:)
