Week 26 at Make My Monday

Morning everyone time for a new challenge at MMM. Thank you to all the people who entered last weeks challenge with some wonderful creations. Looking forward to seeing your entries for this week which is...
Make or decorate a box.
It's called, oh yes it has a name lol, Bringing in the Tree
This could be any old box you have lying around that you can decorate or you can make one.
Here's mine It's for a little girl I know.
It was originally a gift  box  full of  natural type toiletries saved from last Christmas.

Products used in the making of this little scene.
Tattered Angels Frosty Memories Glimmer Chips. These were in one of Chocolate Baroque's (formally Elusive Images) stash boxes and I'd forgotten all about them.
DecoArt Snowflake White acrylic paint... used to paint inside and outside the box.
Artemio Christmas tree stamp in the background
DI Stormy Sky in the BG
Stampendous  Shabby White Embossing Enamel
Heat it Up Snowflake  Tinsel EP
Versamark
Promarkers and Inkssentials Glossy Accents : on the lantern.
Bits and pieces from my stash...

Wish I'd put the tree on the R side so that the robin on the broom would be looking into the scene instead of away from it. If only I planned these things instead of just letting it evolve from the original idea.. you know how it is :D

Here's a couple more little boxes.
A pillow box  from Pink Petticoat download ... a couple of years ago not sure if it's still available. It was part of a huge collection of patterns.. fabulous  although I forget I've got it. I also used PP Christmas papers from Fairy Lights and  Tis The Season download paper collections.

I printed both sides of the card with two different designs.  The outline was printed onto the card which was to be the inside of the box.

This triangle box template was blog candy from PP

The inside of the triangle box..
As if you couldn't guess tee hee.

and this is Missi about to run off with it.. she loved the ribbon I had to rescue it twice. It's now well out of her reach!
There is some amazing Inspiration at the Make My Monday challenge blog can't wait to pop round your blogs to see what you come up with.. you always make some fabulous creations.

We are proud to announce two new members of the DT .... drum roll.....
and
welcome to you both.
Mynette and Val commence as DT members  for the  new MMM challenge in Dec which is only a week away.
It was a very difficult choice to choose between the applicants who all produced wonderful cards.

Take care
xx Suzi B xx

These boxes are wonderful and I really like the little scene you made using a recycled box - these things do come in useful eventually when we hoard them!! what a great idea to print both sides for a gift box - why didn't I think of that??

Your box scene really is stunning Sue and such a clever idea too. The icicle drips at the top are fabulous and the snowy texture very realistic.
The other boxes are lovely too and great for pressies.

Love all your boxes Sue, each one for a different reason. I've always loved pillow boxes just because of the shape but this one is super elegant. The triangle box is really pretty and as for the scenic one ....... well, it's brilliant. I just know that lucky little girl is going to love it.
