Hello all you MMM http://mimchallegeblog.blogspot.com/ fans hows things? it's the 3rd week of Steampunk at make My Monday which is to use some metal on your projects
I wanted to get away from brown... my usual colour of choice when it comes to Steampunk.
Products and Method
Mirri card: embossed with Sizzix embossing folder, sorry can't remember what it's called and coloured with Alcohol inks
Unembossed mirri card and mirri paper also coloured with alcohol inks.
Alcohol ink colours: Pool, Raspberry and sunshine yellow.
White card: embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder Cogs. with Adirondack ink.
Adirondack ink: Watermelon, Lemonade an Hazelnut.
Stamps: Artistic Stamper Tick Tock Butterflies; stamped onto unembossed Mirri cut out and decorated with metal bits and pieces from my stash.
Lace from stash..
Two strips of embossed Mirri placed on each side of a 14.5 square card, white embossed card placed in the middle on sticky pads after lace attached.
Large butterfly stamped with Perfect medium onto unembossed Mirri card and heat embossed with black embossing powder.
Small butterflies stamped and embossed in the same way one onto Mirri card, one onto mirri paper to hopefully give dimension when attached to the bigger butterfly.

Looking forward to seeing Metal on your Steampunk projects.
Have a great week
