Mish Mash Mosh!

Mornin folks, I've been up since 4.45 :((... couldn't get back to sleep.
So I blog hopped, window shopped, added to wish list, played with ink, paper, embossing, smooching with with all of the above, cut out new stamps... used em with the ink I had to hand, tore up bits of paper and card, used the stamp Carol from the Cubby hole gave me to play with as part of the CCTV. ended up with this, no idea what I was aiming for,  no idea why really :)  its red cos Fired Brick DI was on the the desk!

I think I might enter it into Make My Monday a new challenge site with the theme as red flower... think it fits the bill.

I'm still playing but have now had toast and coffee,
feel loaaads better.
I've cut the front off this card and distressed as best I could with Antique Linen
( my bestest favourite DI )
I think the red flower now "pops" better.
In real life it  looks quite golden and warm,
not showing up so well here.  I'll try for another photo :))...
I'm a lot happier with this now
just going to  glue it onto another card base.

tc Sue xx
PS added same day but much later!
The red flower from a short distance looks , in " real life" like a piece of raw silk or some such material.. that's what it says to me any how :))

Amazing what you can come up with in the early hours - it certainly fits the bill for that challenge.

I love crafting in the wee small hours but the trouble is I always want to go to bed when it's time to get up. Aw, real life does get in the way doesn't it, lol?

Love the card you came up with Sue. Lots of gorgeous images on there and I would think it fits the challenge perfectly.

I didn't believe 4.45am existed! It seems to be a good time for creating though - I love your antiqued card with those gorgeous butterflies. Hope you're okay now Sue - there's nothing like coffee and toast for helping a girl feel human! Vx

I wouldn't be able to FIND my craft room let alone see what inks I had at that time of the morning! What a lovely creation-love the way the antique linen d.i has softened the whole effect. x

Your an early riser! I am a late to bed person, creating comes at the most weird times. I totally love your card, the flower looks so delicate, the background and butterflies are awesome. many thanks for taking part in our 1st challenge at MMM, I do hope to see you again. Caz

love your card - how you can do that so early leaves me stunned, would have trouble finding my glasses at that time!

See what happens when we are left to play? Magic, your card's truly gorgeous. I hope you've recovered, an early start like that can tire me for a couple of days LOL Hugs, Gay xx

Isn't it great to just let a project evolve, rather than always planning it out in advance. This is so beautiful, and I actually thought the red flower was done on a piece of fine fabric until I read your Post. Love the vintage background stamps - fabulous!

Some of the best work comes when you don't have any pre-conceived ideas. This is one of them :)
