Alpha Challenge at The Craft barn

I'm struggling in more ways than one with this challenge at the Craft Barn... I missed the deadline for C but I'm showing it here... And I'm not happy with my offering for E but I need to move away from it to get ready for the next letter... see If  I can do better... were have I heard that statement before! I've not even managed to pop over and comment on the entries... But I had a quick peak just now and oh boy.... there is fabulous colourful art work displayed...  I'm struggling with colour..
Hey Ho here's E...

I have gone around the edge of the page with DI Antique Linen but it's not easy to see... plus wasn't too easy to do without messing up the paper... good job it's vintage style

I do love the saying on this CI stamp... I could do with a man that's handy at the bottom of the garden... you know to fix things!  :o) I chose the image  for the eccentric saying!!

My C for Crimson was finished too late for the challenge... but I'm pleased I've managed to do all three letters so far...
This is the state of my old dictionary the reason I chose it for this challenge was because it was falling to bits... but I wish I'd chosen the smaller one I also could have used ... you know pocket sized.
I will have to glue it all together and rebind it at some point... Sue Roddis I may need your help :o)

Take care enjoy the rest of the week
Thank you for looking
xx Suzi B xx...

As your dictionary is falling apart, maybe it is asking you to take each of it's finished pages out & adhere separately into a new journal thus creating your very own (& thinner) altered dictionary. Just a thought ...

Thank you Daisy, that is something I've thought about and probably will end up doing x

Oh man! I would not change anything about this wonderful looking dictionary except to alter that top page and many of the pages inside! It just begs me to come look through it! Crimson is gorgeous!

I love the antiquing around your eccentric page! I also love so much of the dictionary page showing. I want one of those rainy day men too!

Love your eccentric images Suzi, I'm enjoying this challenge too and agree the pages are so thin it's difficult to ink them! Love your crimson poppies, stunning:)

I do love this idea of using dictionary pages for art work - something I keep meanig to get around to (along with lots of other things). These are brilliant and the idea of a handy man at the bottom of the garden made me smile!!

I love both your pages, they are both different and interesting. The great thing about this challenge is that we will all have good and bad weeks during the course of the next 23 letters and it's fun to see what everyone else has done.

Nicely done! I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on tighter to keep up with all the great works in this challenge.
