MMM, Pink, green and white

Good morning!, what fabulous weather ! Its quite some time since its been warm enough to sit out late at night enjoying the night sky but on  Saturday I sat star gazing with a slurp of red wine :o) tracking a satellite when a shooting star streaked across the sky...magic!
Its Monday so time for a new challenge at Make My Monday
and still following the FLORAL theme as your main image
we would like to see the colours, white, pink and green.

I used a Stampendous cling stamp no. CRR112. I directly applied colour to the stamp using Whispers Strokes, spritzed with water and stamped onto water colour paper that had also had a light spritz of water.   I dragged some of the colour to fill in the image with a damp brush. I also added a much lighter pink here and there. I wanted to achieve a light water colour effect.  I stamped in the same way a second time and cut out the flowers. The cut flowers where shaped then a tiny amount of Glamour Dust added in an hap hazard way.
The water colour paper had been torn and edged in the lighter colour pink then mounted onto a second piece of water colour card treated in the same way. I added  some text in a couple of places which is a stamp from Pinkpaislee Spring Jubilee set. ... I love this set it may one of the best stamp sets I bought when at Port Sunlight! :o)

This shows the shaped, layered blooms.

This shows the layers of water colour paper

I stamped a third time and cut out one of the smaller blooms coloured the same way, added Diamond Glaze and sprinkled in some Glamour Dust. The GD obliterated the detail in the flower so this was added once the DG was dry. The sentiment tag is from Stamping all day

You can just see a small amount of text in the bottom right.. I forgot to take a photo :o(
This is the last week of my choices and I hope you've enjoyed them as much as I've enjoyed seeing all your lovely work...  its been very hard to choose the top three!
Enjoy your day

I just adore this card Suzi - fabulous use of watercolour paper. When I first glanced at your card, I thought you'd created ribbon roses, they looked so 3D. After reading your post and taking a closer look, I see how you've constructed it. A gorgeous creation !

A really gorgeous card Sue and that stamp is a favourite of mine. Just love the soft colours and 3D look along with the shabby and distressed elements.
Have a good week.

Your card made me gasp out loud Sue - it's just beautiful! I love the flowers and the way you've torn and inked the edges of your water colour paper, then layered them is brilliant. Bakers twine is the perfect finishing touch too. Glad you're enjoying the weather; 'slurp' of red wine made me giggle - you're not drinking it from the bottle are you?!! Vicky x
