It's MONDAY!!

and this week we want to see some Inches- Flora and Fauna
Pop along to Make My Monday Challenge Blog  and be inspired by the DT

Here's mine!
I did have a canvas to show you but I was "messin" and ruined it!

I swooshed  Spice,  from Big and Juicy onto shiny card then stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black.. Image is from the Live Out Loud A5 stamp plate from Elusive images ( now Chocolate Baroque)   I gave it lots of time to dry. The image was cut using a one inch punch. It didn't work out exactly but I think it looks ok.
I repositioned the "inches" onto black card stock .
I put Black Magic core'dinations through my Cuttlebug with a Provo craft embossing plate... sorry I can't remember what the name is.
I then sanded  the embossing to show  the colour, then mounted this onto orangey coloured card stock. I used some of the bits and pieces left over at the bottom . The sentiment is from Life Sentiments from Kaiser Craft.

Hope you like it!
take care xx Suzi B xx
   I'm also entering these challenges
Inchies or squares  at  kaboodle Doodles.
The Shabby Tea Room  Pumpkin garden plus one dry embossed element.

Oooh, I love this Suzi. The colours are gorgeous and so eye catching. I've always liked that image too but I especially like how you used the little bits at the bottom. What a great idea and so effective.

Great minds think alike - this stamp sort of popped into my mind when I was thinking about inchies so maybe a re-think is called for. I just love what you've done with it for the challenge.

Hi Sue, This is fabulous, great colour choice and I love all the texture! What a shame you fiddled with your canvas, I can't tell you how often I've done exactly the same. Is it retrieveable? I hope so! This new journalling is fun, make a mistake and you just add another layer, sorted LOL
Thanks for your lovely comment, Gay xxx
