LIM Wk 21 Sketch

I've been playing this morning but not all that happy with the results but thought that I'd share them any way.
Can't remember  much about any of the flower stamps I've used apart from, I bought them when I first started stamping about 3 tears ago (roughly)... I've no idea whose they are... sorry :(
The sentiment is from Crafty Individuals.
The more I look at those beads the more I don't like em.... they'll be coming off :)

Up date... Most of the beads have gone! ... just a few on the periphery still in situ!
*****
I am so unhappy with these I haven't done any thing with em... the flowers remind of crabs scurrying around :))

But look at these two ... aah wood pigeons in love!... taken last night about 21.30. they are on my neighbours three storey house  chimney... hence the poor quality photo ( taken with me little Canon Ixus 130 on digital zoom)

LIM One Layer in the Frame

Didn't think I'd be entering LIM this week because I should be over in Nottingham helping my sister for a few days whilst her  daughter and son in law are in Greece...  but my car decided to play up on Friday evening and  is off the road until I can get  it for a diagnostic test tomorrow..  drat and double drat!
I won't tell you how many attempts and different options I did with the above  stamp  ... should've given up ... think I'm tired. Thought I'd share the best of the bunch... I'm not happy with it but here it is.
If I  have time this week,.... read that as my car not being fixed :(
I'll  have another go.

Mish Mash Mosh!

Mornin folks, I've been up since 4.45 :((... couldn't get back to sleep.
So I blog hopped, window shopped, added to wish list, played with ink, paper, embossing, smooching with with all of the above, cut out new stamps... used em with the ink I had to hand, tore up bits of paper and card, used the stamp Carol from the Cubby hole gave me to play with as part of the CCTV. ended up with this, no idea what I was aiming for,  no idea why really :)  its red cos Fired Brick DI was on the the desk!

I think I might enter it into Make My Monday a new challenge site with the theme as red flower... think it fits the bill.
http://mimchallegeblog.blogspot.com/

I'm still playing but have now had toast and coffee,
feel loaaads better.
I've cut the front off this card and distressed as best I could with Antique Linen
( my bestest favourite DI )
I think the red flower now "pops" better.
In real life it  looks quite golden and warm,
not showing up so well here.  I'll try for another photo :))...
I'm a lot happier with this now
just going to  glue it onto another card base.

tc Sue xx
PS added same day but much later!
The red flower from a short distance looks , in " real life" like a piece of raw silk or some such material.. that's what it says to me any how :))

Same but Different

3 boys Distressed... added later 13.15..... oh dear, distressed boys!  :))

3 boys clean and simple.... added later at 13.15.... CLEAN boys?  lol.

One of these cards will be for my son , Mark . His B/D is on the 12th. He works in the building trade... hence the cogs. He loves growing  veg and things plus he has two chickens... and a dog... Now I don't know which card to give him... decisions, decisions!

This is my card for Jaqui. You may recognise it.  it's an updated version of a LIM challenge card. I cut out the image, layered it ,using sticky pads onto embossed card... otherwise it's exactly the same...I really like it...

Hello everyone what you up to today? As if I can't guess :))
Another question, how does your work ..."grow"?,
do you plan in advance or does it just happen?
In my case it nearly always just happens!... as did this card today.
I was tidying (oh yesI was) my craft room, picked up this stamp ... an idea came to mind....
It "grew" in the middle of a very messy work table.
For it to be a true CAS card
I perhaps should have not added the tag
but I'm in dangly mode and I like it!

Here it is in Adirondack Watermelon! plus a little red heart .... sweet :))

3rd Time Lucky?

Tim Holtz techniques with Grungy Monday
This week its Shabby Chic
Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas, 2007, Day 10

I really struggled with this one!
This is my second attempt at the GM challenge
last week I enjoyed the water colour technique
this week  is a different story altogether!
The above tag is my 3rd attempt...whew!
here's the ones that got away!

The pink one had too much ink... I think
.As I was rubbing and rubbing, it was going down to the card stock
you can just spot it on the photo.
The other one didn't have enough paint!

Have a great  week end. I'm off to a retirement BBQ...
what great weather for it.
