Christmas card with a bird

Hi every one thank you for stopping by, lovely to see you.
This week at Less Is More Chrissie and Jan want to see
 Christmas cards  with birds

I used four stamps to create this image but I'm not sure I got it quite right
so tell me what you think.... now be kind ;)
 Stamps
Bird and branch : Stampers Anonymous: Urban chic
Christmas Time : B Line Designs. Stamped in black directly onto the card then again in red on a separate  piece of card the sign cut out and layered onto the card.
Stocking and holly  from a little set I've had for ages probably from Hobby Craft. I used two stockings from the set but just the top of the one with the holly.
Ink
Versafine: Onyx Black
Adirondack: Cranberry
Whispers strokes: red and green.
Ive been dying to use this stamp  so I' was glad to ink it up today even if I did only use part of it... and like I say I'm not sure it worked!!

Have a great Sunday, see you tomorrow with the new Make My Monday challenge.
Suzi B xx

PS
I think the bird was maybe meant to be a Blue Tit... but he's now a lovely Robin with a very red breast. xx

Brilliant! I like a bit of stamp combining especially when a bluetit is transformed into a robin, that's what I call resourceful.

In awe of this card.
The most amazing coming together of the stamps and I find this card to be so inspirational as it is an area I would like to dabble in, I too readily reach for lace and other found pieces of this 'n' that.

I love it Suzi, a brilliant coming together of stamps! Love the fact that the bluetit might have gone to the hairdressers for a colour change:)

Gorgeous card Suzi!! Love all the stamps you have used but I can see why you were so keen to ink up that B-line one, - what a beauty and I think it worked really well!
