Shhh Don't tell any one and LIM leaves

I promised a friend, you know who you are ;D.  I would blog the CAS cards that never made the grade there are one or two others in the bin!..

This one was intended for the Make My Monday challenge which this week is Christmas with the emphasis on the Sentiment... It didn't maker it cos I got glitter glue where it shouldn't be and the sentiment is wonky... I'm known for getting things wonky! lol
It's my turn to choose the theme for November which is Christmas with a different option each week. I got the idea for this weeks option from the  LIM challenge which I love joining in with when ever I can... most weeks actually!

close up of the tree.

the card is mounted onto green  card which is red on the other side... very Christmasy! spelling??

Now to    LIM    Week 41 One Layer - Leaves

This is the one that didn't make it!

and this is the one that did! lol even though Chrissie and Mandi might not be happy with the holly on the ribbon ...it's a charm !  I think I'll probably add some gems to the holly. Unfortunately the lovely glitter on the embossing isn't showing its Heat It Up Snowflake Tinse. the stamps are by Chocolate Baroque (formally Elusive Images)
 take care and have fun

Thanks for sharing your 'rejects' - I often get things wonky too or smudge glitter or stickles before they are dry which is just careless really I suppose on my part. I love your card for the LIM challenge and I'm sure they won't mind your holly charm.

I think your rejects are very good compared to mine........lol
Loving your new LIM cards especially the silver one and the flower is a beautiful finishing touch. x

Yep, we all have 'em don't we. I wish I'd a pound for every touch of Stickles I've smudged right at the last minute and totally ruined my card. Another favourite of mine is dropping an inkpad right where it shows the most. I'm getting real clumsy in my old age, lol!~

Seriously though, your cards are lovely Sue. I especially love the last one (love those swirly stamps on that set) and think it would look lovely on vellum (actually in the photo it could be vellum?)

Your LIM card is beautiful Suzi. I seem to be forever covering up ink smears and only this morning managed to drop a whole pot of gold embossing powder all over my feet and craft room floor!!! :)

The last card is the best. But I like the others too. I do get things smudged. Mostly because I put them somewhere to dry, and then something else gets over them. Now I put things to dry in a pizzabox.

Beautiful.
