Although I've been coughing for England! and my throat feels like a bag of razor blades :( I was determined to take part in wk 4 of the LIM challenge
which this week is to use three squares.
The community over at LIM are welcoming, supportive with plenty of hints and tips...
A couple of months ago I enquired on a US blog what CAS stood for... felt sooo stupid when I found out.....now I'm having a go... not sure I get it right..but I like the end result...
I also want to say thank you to every one that drops by and leaves a comment.. sorry I don't make it to as many as I'd like... but you all do a fantastic job.
The lovely ladies are a download from Cemerony. The word and square stamp is by Stampendous purchased from the Cubby Hole. The Friends stamp is from HOTP

Sue...hope the throat is getting easier. Your card is stunning, I love the lettering at the bottom and think you are getting the hand of this CAS malarkey (I may have left the ribbon off - hark at me lol I probably would have stamped the ribbon with swirls hehe) and am not just saying that cos I am your "friend" lol :) Take care Suzy!
From another Suzy!
Great card and I love your sentiment...

Hi Sue,
I love this ribbon treatment, it's so pretty, but I'm not convinced that it is in the same vein as the strong images and their mounting! The sentiment and the images match very well and I think would stand well alone... but that ribbon is gorgeous!
See you next time!

This is a lovely card and the balance is just right - great images and the word stamp is really interesting. I do hope you stop coughing soon - not good for a sore throat!! (cause and effect).
Lovely card, such pretty ladies too, the wording works really with it also. Hope your poor throat feels better soon!Viv xx
It is fab Suzie, love it!!!
I am sure that 'less' is the new more. I so want to do this challenges, but am having a challenge break for a while.
Keep in touch.

Fab card, hope you feel better soon xx
oh! my gosh,I love how you have used those images and Friends certainly matches them well, I love the ribbon and how you have put it together, (must have a try at similar)
Hope you feel beter soon....like the imagery on this card
Sue this is lovely - the images are gorgeous.
I do like the first one best. The faces are more "close-up" and the ribbon with embellishment is outstanding.
I love them both, can`t really decide which I like the best. The second is true cas but ribbon is my favourite embellishment so I`m drawn to that one too.Hope the throat and cough go away soon.

"Less is More"
both of them are beautiful - even though you are poorly these are great
wow - this is fab, I prefer it with the ribbon but both are great.

Two brilliant cards but must say I prefer the first with the ribbon. the images on this one fill the square more as well which I think makes a big difference.
I like it with the ribbon the best - but both perfect CAS cards! Love the effect you've given the ribbon. Sorry to hear about your poorly throat - nasty! Take care and stay cosy xx
You have my sympathies on the throat and cough Suzi because I was exactly the same a month ago and it's not much fun is it.
I have to say I love both these cards (those ladies are gorgeous) but I do like the way you did the ribbon on the first one. Really pretty and not even a bow.
Hope you feel much better very soon.
Hugs
Lesley Xx
Very pretty card...and I think I like the ribbon on the card.
I'm just getting round everyone's entries now. There's a lot! I rather like your first one when I saw it with the ribbon. I thought the pink gave the images a little warmth. x
What a LOVELY card."..and your comment "my throat feels like a bag of razor blades..." oh MY, SO sorry you're feeling poorly, but you have a calling as a comedienne!! Hope you feel better real soon.
It was so interesting to see both versions Suzi, as I said I love the ribbon, but I do prefer this actual card without it! However, as you see most people prefer your original version!
Thanks for trying out another!
Chrissie
