Colour combo

Good morning and welcome to this weeks challenge at  Make My Monday which this weeks is all about your two

Favourite Colour Combination

 I decided to make a CAS card with my new SU Painted Petals stamp set coloured with American Crafts Stamp Markers. I love this stamp set ... this was a quick and easy card.
One of my favoirite colour combos is Pink and Green.

I needed a quick thank you card ... so continued the theme

I enjoyed playing with this stamp set... as you can tell from below, although I'm not that happy with them, but I'll show you any way.

Captured Heart

 It's Monday and you know that that means it's time for the new 

Make My Monday challenge which this week is:

 Valentines

I've taken my inspiration from the Less is More 4th birthday celebration challenge which is to use the colours 

Pink & Grey.

I used Dina Wakley heart stamps from Collaged Hearts, stamped with, Versafine: Smokey Gray and Color Box Q: Rosebud. I bought these hearts with the intention of using them in a journal!.... never happened.... one day :-). To add a bit of dimension I added  Glossy Accents to the small heart and dropped a pink heart gem into it. My Glossy accent glue is not as clear as it should be, due to the hatpin I use to stop it from clogging up!  I read about some one using silicone babies bottle teats on their glue,which sounds like a good idea but I can't find the link!  ... 

I'm sure lots of you are making Valentine cards at the moment so why not  show us your creations. Pop across to MMM to see the lovely inspiration from the design team.

Hearts and Flowers

Here's my Design Team  piece which will hopefully inspire you to join us.

I perused many of my flower and heart stamps deciding to use the Poppy Heart stamp by IndigoBlu, thinking it would kill two birds with one stamp, ha ha. From that initial thought came the above. My work always evolves and never ends up anything like my first thoughts!  I did cut out a couple of poppies from the poppy heart stamp! I used the quote from Chocolate Baroque's lovely Rose Stem Script  added onto a heart shape made using a Woodware punch. I also punched out another heart from red card which, can hardly be seen :-)  over stamped with a script stamp from Prima, which was also used in the background.
