better late than never!

I'm late with my DT submission for the Make My Monday challenge which this week has been chosen by the fabulous Fliss. She wants to see:

The tag is waste from practising with die cuts! I have a new machine, an Xcut Express, I love it! up until now I've been a reluctant user of die cutting machines, even though I had two... now I have three! but the Xcut is by far my favourite and easiest to use!

Twine: which I tried to colour slightly with DI's.... not sure it worked all that well :-(

Winter Birthday

Good morning from a very dark, blustery, wet Cheshire! a perfect day to spend in the craft room. It might mean I manage to get ahead with craft projects instead of always being on the last minute!
The challenge theme this week at Make My Monday is

 Winter Birthday

 The image is the waste ink from the flip side of the stencil placed onto thick cartridge paper.

The stencilled image after being sprayed... I'll be using this on something , some day! :-)

I scribbled some spots and splats to ground the bird but not sure it looks right.

 I've now added some water to blend the colours... what do you think?
