MMM, Pink, green and white

Good morning!, what fabulous weather ! Its quite some time since its been warm enough to sit out late at night enjoying the night sky but on  Saturday I sat star gazing with a slurp of red wine :o) tracking a satellite when a shooting star streaked across the sky...magic!
Its Monday so time for a new challenge at Make My Monday
and still following the FLORAL theme as your main image
we would like to see the colours, white, pink and green.

I used a Stampendous cling stamp no. CRR112. I directly applied colour to the stamp using Whispers Strokes, spritzed with water and stamped onto water colour paper that had also had a light spritz of water.   I dragged some of the colour to fill in the image with a damp brush. I also added a much lighter pink here and there. I wanted to achieve a light water colour effect.  I stamped in the same way a second time and cut out the flowers. The cut flowers where shaped then a tiny amount of Glamour Dust added in an hap hazard way.
The water colour paper had been torn and edged in the lighter colour pink then mounted onto a second piece of water colour card treated in the same way. I added  some text in a couple of places which is a stamp from Pinkpaislee Spring Jubilee set. ... I love this set it may one of the best stamp sets I bought when at Port Sunlight! :o)

This shows the shaped, layered blooms.

This shows the layers of water colour paper

I stamped a third time and cut out one of the smaller blooms coloured the same way, added Diamond Glaze and sprinkled in some Glamour Dust. The GD obliterated the detail in the flower so this was added once the DG was dry. The sentiment tag is from Stamping all day

You can just see a small amount of text in the bottom right.. I forgot to take a photo :o(
This is the last week of my choices and I hope you've enjoyed them as much as I've enjoyed seeing all your lovely work...  its been very hard to choose the top three!
Enjoy your day

My daughters birthday

It's Leesia's  ( known as Leesh)  birthday on Mon 21st May. here's her card
Leesh prefers the LIM type card and I usually do something with, fairies, shoes, or the moon, her favourite things.. so this is very different but I hope she likes it.
The butterfly is from Chocolate Baroque patchwork Butterfly set. I used the same colours as is shown on the graphics that comes with the set...just as well it did me mojos on holiday!. I used Whispers Strokes pens and a water colour brush.

you can see the wonderful colours on this photo.

I stamped onto heat resistant acetate in black ink and heat embossed with clear EP then cut out and adhered to the direct to card image.
enjoy the rest of the W/E...
I will be having lunch with Leesh tomorrow (Sunday) she's out living it up tonight with her husband and friends. Her husband is taking her to a very posh place Monday evening!

LIM Take Three Stamps

ONE LAYER CARD
This time we have the stipulation to
USE THREE STAMPS
not four, not two... but 3!
I was determined to have another go at LIM take three stamps one layer card. I love this image from Stampendous which would lend itself to the Vintage, shabby, layered type look. I wondered how it would look as a one layer, vintage, faux layered look! What do you think?
I thought the lacy doily from Darkroom Door complimented the the lovely vintage image.
Bye for now

MMM Wk 49

Good morning! well I was up at silly o clock on this, I'd like to say beautiful May morning, but I can't cos it's not!
For this weeks challenge at MMM
 follow the  FLORAL theme
but add some
   MUSIC to your flowers.
Any flower any colour just so long there is some music included.
Pop along to MMM to be inspired  by the lovely work from the DT and join us, we'd love to see you

here's mine
The music image is from a lovely set by Pinkpaislee that I bought at HSNW on Saturday... bumped into some lovely friends and ex colleagues...great to see you folks, hope to see you again soon.
I stamped the music onto white card that had been sprayed with Glimmer Mist, Garden Fairy, Auburn and Turquoise Blue.

You can just make out the Auburn on this photograph.

I then used the Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch to make the flowers from the same card. The "dancing " music notes are from See-D's set.
I layered some of the flowers, added glitter glue and Liquid Pearl drops for the centres.

The sentiment is from Inkadinkado

Enjoy your Monday, have a great week.
take care

MMM week 48 Floral Lily of the Valley/ white flower

Today marks the beginning of a new monthly challenge at Make My Monday,
the overriding theme for May is FLORAL
Lily of the Valley is the birth flower for May so we would like to see some white flowers in your project. If you have a Lily of the Valley stamp that would be fantastic to see. I chose these themes and  struggled to come up with a Lily of the valley! so don't despair as long as the flower is white that's fine. There are some wonderful examples over on the MMM challenge site so pop along and be inspired
Lily of The Valley or White Flowers
The flower stamp, not sure if it is Lily of the Valley ;o)  is by Local King Rubber called Chicks stamped onto torn vellum with Archival Brilliance in Pearlescent Lime. I coloured the flowers with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen and finished them off with Glamour Dust. I layered the image onto another piece of torn pearlized vellum. I anchored the vellum onto the green card at the back. The green card was embossed with a floral embossing folder with the Cuttlebug.

I also used the flower stamp to make a shrinky  and coloured it in the same way as the main image... no glitter though :o)
The sentiment was stamped with a darker green Brilliance to coordinate with the dark green embossed card.
The green card was then adhered to a white centre fold card once I'd added the ribbon
I hope you enjoy this months Floral themes as much as we all enjoyed Cazro's men and boys theme last month.. I can't wait to see what delights you come with.
take care, see you soon
