Good morning and welcome to not only the first Make My Monday challenge for March but also the first challenge on the new MMM Blog. The theme is:
Girly Birthday.
My card is for a more mature "girly", cos we all, well most of us girls, like pretty things.
Crafters Workshop Template : Mini Specimens. I used all of it ... I was playing!
Paperartsy : grunge Paste
Hot Off the press: artful collection vintage and floral images.
Pink Paisley: Spring jubilee.
Stampendous: Butterflies.
Docrafts: Postal frame
Distress Inks: squeezed lemonade, picked rasberry, peacock feathers. I used water colour technique to paint the flowers.
Versafine: Vintage Sepia.
Gesso.
I stamped the butterflies onto left over backing and cut out.
Thank you for looking, have a good week.
Suzi B xx

Love the effects on the background and it has all come together as a really pretty 'girly' card. Off to check out the new MMM blog.
Hi, You have created a gorgeous background to your card and I hope you will be using that grunge paste more now :-) Love the soft colours too. Thankyou for joining us at That Craft Place. Good Luck and hope to see you again soon.

This is so pretty Sue and I love how you have made the Grunge Paste background work perfectly with pretty as well as with 'grunge'! Lovely, lovely card!
BTW I give my GP a spritz of water before I put the top back on which seems to help prevent it drying out too much. Glad you've taken the plunge with it ;-)
Hugs
