added later: Oh nooo I forgot it's one layer week ... Poo !! this wont count... sorry girls xx.. see end of this post , one layer version with faux stitches lol
Since my sewing machine is out I thought I'd give it another whirl... I'm not a sewer, see previous post! :o)
the sewing machine has been used the grand total of twice! I've had it a year lol.
The definition of house came from an old Thesaurus bought for 50p from a charity shop.
the Newsprint house from Paperbag Studios was stamped directly onto material, an old napkin, stitched, cut out and frayed. I then adhered it to thin card before attaching to the cream, hammered base card. (it's not looking very creamy on the photograph) I did similar with the definition
The words Hope & Dream for Stamingallday were stamped directly onto the base card.
Then a bit of bling :o)
I attached the house and definition with sticky fixes to give some depth. One layer version
Thank you for visiting my house I look forward to visiting yours... black coffee for me :)

Black coffee for me too!! I bet you needed one after realising your first card didn't meet the guidelines. They are both great though
Great cards - well done on the second one!!
So frustrating when that happens Suzi especially when it's such a fabulous card! Love the stamped napkin:)

They're both lovely. Sue x
Both cards are fab! I love the house stamp, its very cool xx
It's so easy to get carried away with the theme and forget the one layer bit isn't it Suzi, I've done it SO many times!
Both versions are super, although for this particular stamp, the first version, although it doesn't count for this particular challenge, absolutely rocks!
Thanks so much
Chrissie

Two fabulous cards, I love the first one, shame it doesn't count, but you've done a great job on the second. Love the stamp! xx

These are both fabulous cards Sue and to be honest I couldn't pick a favourite. I think they are both great.
