One more for LIM

The challenge at LIM is really helping me out... I will soon be visiting my friend Jeanie  in France.. she has asked me to take along generic type greeting cards that are also light in weight. I usually get quite a haul ready especially when Jeanie's visiting GB cos she usually comes in the car but I will be flying with hand luggage only! very difficult for me cos I'm a take the kitchen sink type person... minimal luggage  moi!! so the haul will be less in number on this occasion

I stamped the images ( Pink petticoat freebie from simply Cards and Papercraft magazine) yesterday but didn't have time to finish it... mind you I wasn't sure how to complete it cos I stamped without thinking about composition! do you do that? lol. Images coloured with chalk pencil and a little glamour dust added. the charm is from a defunct piece of jewellery.
Updated version.... added later that same day... :o)

Thank you for visiting, love that you do especially if you leave a comment which I greatly appreciate  .. :o)
Enjoy your Sunday... it's started raining here... just a light shower.

Cute image and cute card Suzi.
I am like you, and often stamp before thinking too much about composition. Personally I would have re-cut the card blank into a smaller one and done away with the charm and twine, I do this lots - chopping up cards I am not too happy with and reusing the images!

You are being prolific with the cards and this image is so cute and I love the string and charm too. I did decide not to buy any more magazines for their freebies but maybe when I go shopping - who knows I might be tempted...

I think I prefer the first one Suzi, although I'm not sure if the charm is in the same style as the images of the birds!
What think you?
Thanks so much

Well, Suze...I've studied both cards, and I do believe I like the first one the best. I have a difficult time using twine or charms...so I probably would have just cut the card down to a size that made the birds look like they were in the right place, but your solution works too.

Cute card. Lovely image.
I live the first card best. And you could even try it without the charm.
