Playing

Hi all, It's a dull drizzly wet day here in Crewe,  Cheshire :o)  hope it's nicer where you are. Just the kind of day to sit colouring. I remember saying to my children ...many years ago, on such a day, why don't you do some colouring?  no games consoles etc in those days.....so I headed my own advise... wry grin and played with colouring pencils.

I've used Stampendous Cling Jumbo Rosehips.. I love this set. think I must be a  Victorian romantic at heart .. I love flowers.
Now comes the bit you wont believe.. I can hardly believe it my self. I have lost my Derwent Inktense Pencils!!! can't find em any where. I have searched the making room upside down and no sign :o(
I only have the red and green and it was when I went to put these in the tin that I realised they were missing... I'm in shock! because Inktense are my favourite for water colouring.

I coloured the image with a mixture of the two Inktense, Crayola and West Design pencils.

I raised part of the images on the bottom of the card so that they were part of the top design and not just used as a stop.

Oh heck I've just hit the publish button instead of preview.. don't know what's wrong with my head these days... or rather I do  :o(    nuff said.

I think I will add  some bling and a  with  love sentiment to the left of the main image.

 Have a lovely day
take care

This is just gorgeous Sue and those beautiful roses look just stunning. Wonderful shape to your card too.
You're not alone in losing stuff either as it happens to me quite often too. I'm sure you pencils will turn up when you're looking for something else.
Hugs, Fliss xx

Gee...this is totally awesome! The colors you were able to locate work perfectly and the colored edging finishes it all>

This is gorgeous too! Your colouring is amazing and those petals look soft and touchable. I know how you must feel about losing your watercolour pencils - I'd be lost without mine!

My daughter would never colour as a tot unless I did one half of the picture at the same time - she only liked colouring if she could chat while doing it! Vicky x
