Tim Holtz techniques with Grungy Monday
This week its Shabby Chic
Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas, 2007, Day 10 I really struggled with this one!
This is my second attempt at the GM challenge
last week I enjoyed the water colour technique
this week is a different story altogether!
The above tag is my 3rd attempt...whew!
here's the ones that got away!
The pink one had too much ink... I think
.As I was rubbing and rubbing, it was going down to the card stock
you can just spot it on the photo.
The other one didn't have enough paint!
Have a great week end. I'm off to a retirement BBQ...
what great weather for it.

Never mind you got there in the end! I must have a look at this challenge - it is good to be reminded of some of TH techniques now and again when inspiration deserts as it does at times.
Well your final attempt is fabulous Sue. Love the images. I'd love to find time to have a go at this challenge too because I love the grungy techniques but never get to practice them really.

Sue, yhour tag is beatutiful, good on you for pushing on. Your our tags are lovely, Great job.
If at first you don't succeed.... I'm glad you stuck with it. You certainly figured it out on your 3rd try. Great color combination.
What a star for persevering, must say I quiet like the ones that didn't make the grade as well and I'm sure they can be revamped :)
Fantastic tag! I had to try several times too, glad you continued as this is gorgeous xx

Great tag Sue. Maybe the problem was pink, not us! lol I tried different base coats: pink, pink over black, black over pink and just plain black. The plain ol' black base is the tag I liked best out of my experiments. It was fun to play!
