I had a great time at the workshop yesterday. I've never worked with metal in this way...loved it! even though it did make my wrist and fingers ache! I had trouble getting the metal onto my book which is, The Tale of Tom Kitten by Beatrix Potter. In fact the metal already looks battered!! but I like it. I shall be adding bits and pieces to the inside of the book as I go along.

This is the lovey Little Sue's book. I absolutely love this design....gorgeous.
There were 10 of us at the W/S and all produced very individual, fabulous designs. Unfortunately I didn't get more photos :(
I believe the weather is getting stormy tomorrow so enjoy today! It's crisp and sunny here in Crewe.

What a lovely idea to use that type of metal work to cover a book and I can imagine it was quite hard work although I've not done anything like it. This is beautiful - thanks for sharing the photos.
Well done Suz,i I bet it was quite hard to do. I've never worked with metal. It looks really lovely. Hugs x ChrisB
Brilliant, i love these books, really colourful and bright. So talented. They were really good fun to do weren't they :) And I agree, they did make your wrists and hands ache after a while. Px
gorgeous covers Sue, love the vibrant colours - can well believe it made your hands ache, but worth it!
Absolutely beautiful work, Suzi....your colors are outstanding. I can say I am just a teensy bit jealous of you and your group spending the day with my Sarah : )
Fantastic book, even better in real life :)
I'm so glad you got pics cos I didn't and your book is stunning! Hard work, but really worth all that effort. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Wow Suzi.....your book looks lovely, great colours and the flowers are beautiful. Looks like a fun workshop.
So that's where the copper cladding from my roof went! Now the bats are flying in again. Angel, were gonna have to do something about your kleptomania one of these days :o)
