Flowers in bloom

The Make My Monday challenge this week, chosen by the talented Marina is
Flowers
I've used three images from a sheet of lovely printable flowers from a shop on Etsy called Cemerony.
The background  is made using a Crafters Workshop template using chalk from Craf-t Products onto Kraft card. The sentiment is from an Ecogreen set of stamps called Petal Party.
Thank you for taking a look at my "stuff" it's very much appreciated.
 Have a good week

Fifty Shades of green

It's time to turn green for the challenge at Make My Monday
This week chosen by Joan would like you to use the colour
GREEN
The first card was done after I'd finished the one below which I wasn't all that happy with, as usual! :-)
I wanted to experiment with backgrounds and seeing as I had lots of  different shades of green on my desk  I had a play!
This is the result
Which I decided to turn it into a card for the MMM DT inspiration. I used the same sentiment which I think goes well with the main image.
The first photograph is a more accurate colour representation. I do find it difficult getting accurate colours on my photographs.  .
Not sure who you could send this card to! other than some one who loves green. It might have been better in a journal which is some thing I want to play with.
This is the first card i made using a stamp set which I recently acquired ;-) from Art Gone Wild by Suzanne Corrillo.
I love this set and couldn't wait to have a play.

It's a Christmas stamp set but there are a couple of elements that can be used at any time, bargain!

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day.
I'm off to meet bessie mate in the lovely historical town of Nantwich. No doubt lots of mooching around the shops, coffee and lunch, no wine I'm driving!
See you soon

It can be yours :-)

Good morning and welcome to this weeks Make My Monday challenge which is

Building Town or City
I struggled with this theme for a wee while. I had a quick peruse of Pinterest for inspiration which led me to make this card using a set of freebies from Get Stamping magazine. The bird is from another free set this time from Creative Stamping. The word believe is from Inkadinkado Special thoughts inches.
So in the end this theme was quick and simple
Thank you for looking, have a good week.

New challenge, new blog!

Good morning and welcome to not only the first  Make My Monday challenge for March but also the first challenge on the new MMM Blog. The theme is:
Girly Birthday.
My card is for a more mature "girly", cos we all, well most of us girls, like pretty things.

I was experrimenting on Saturday with stenils and grunge paste. I've been dying to have a go with the grunge paste which I bought must be a couple of years ago, how time flies!, maybe thats the reason it was a bit thick and stiff! The base of the card is the result after coloiuring it with various Distress Inks, spraying with water and generally having fun.

 Products
Crafters Workshop Template : Mini Specimens. I used all of it ... I was playing!
Paperartsy : grunge Paste
Hot Off the press: artful collection vintage and floral images.
Pink Paisley: Spring jubilee.
Stampendous: Butterflies.
Docrafts: Postal frame
Distress Inks: squeezed lemonade, picked rasberry, peacock feathers. I used  water colour technique to paint the flowers.
Versafine: Vintage Sepia.
Gesso.
I stamped the butterflies onto left over backing and cut out.

Thank you for looking, have a good week.
