Busy

Well I'm busy making my friend Maureen's wedding invitations so not much time for "playing" but I am hoping to join The Cubby Hole swap for August its been extended to the 14th Oct so I should be able to get it done. The swap for August is 4 fat quarters ... ie 4 pieces of card or board decorated to the theme of nature. My head is buzing with ideas but I must concentrate on Maureens wedding invitations. If I get the 4FQ done I'll post them then  I'll post the ones I receive in the swap.

Perfect Day

This is one of my favourite cards  I love the atmospheric feel of it. Mind you I doupt I could ever repeat it!
 The stamps are from Elusive Images. The background on the main image was brayered with Adirondack Wild Flower ink pad.

Virtual pet

Hope you like the new addition to the blog site... I love cats but don't have one (used to have three).. so this is my virtual pet cat. I would like to give him/her a name ..any ideas ? If you tickle him with your curser he/she just might say hello.

Hairdo!

This is a card for my hairdresser who opened her own salon this week. The image is from Joanna Sheen's dancing with shadows CD as is the pink hairbrush backing paper.The black & white backing paper is from Debbi Moore's Oriental Promise CD. The pink backing paper is from Pink Petticoat's mini washed out series. The sentiment I did on the PC.. She's a bit saucy don't you think?... saucy but nice.

Artilicious Decadent Brocade Cd & stamps

I've been playing with decadent brocade this morning. I stamped the images with versamark then dusted with cosmic shimmer iridescent mica pigment colour... harebell. The backing paper is from the Eleanor section pf the CD.

Just want to mention that Hilda is doing well on HDU getting better slowly & surely

Craft Stamper

Made with the crft stamper stamp for my friend Maureen.

This is my latest card from Glenda Waterworths CD Decadent Brocade. I created the torn edge look by cutting around the image with a craft knife... I'm useless with a knife so consequently didn't like the look so embossedit with clear embossing powder then inked it with peeled paint distress ink which created the double edge look then put a tiny bit of glamour dust on.

I've done it!!

Wow it was so easy hope I've done it correctly.
This is the second wow of the day. The first being the delivery of my "Stash Box" from Graphicus.
